what's on?

sara, you know i like this stuff. thanks.

THE RULES: List five songs that you are currently loving. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.

Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog. Then tag five other friends to see what they're listening to.

my top 5:

1. emiliana torrini -- sunny road
2. emiliana torrini -- lifesaver
3. emiliana torrini -- fisherman's woman
4. emiliana torrini -- at least it was
5. madeleine peyroux -- i'll look around

p.s. i won't tag anyone, but please do share in a comment.

it really suits the fall, don't you think?

i'm so in love with this album, i can't seem to listen to anything else, so that explains the diversity of my list, too, hehe.

awesome coincidence indeed. :)

with the risk of sounding like 'amazon.com', if you like emiliana, you should also check out hanne hukkelberg. she's reeeeally good.

thanks for the tip, petya. i actually just went to amazon.com to check hanne hukkelberg and from the snippets i heard, she does sound intriguing. i'll get her "little things" record. but what's funny, is that i looked at the "customers who bought this also bought..." column there, and i found sufjan stevens -- an artist one of my best friends has been raving about lately and i never checked him out. i really liked his samples, too. amazon.com is good, apparently.

may i recommend something, too? check out the books. they're not scandinavian, but in a way, remind me of hanne hukkelberg. their music is strange and very pretty.
